Friends for Life Adult Day Center employs a full time Activity Director (Teresa Tristan) to schedule daily activities.
These activities meet and exceed the elements for Day Activity Habilitation Services required by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
In the facility the following activities are held weekly:

Walking Laps in the Facility
Devotions with Worship Music
Movies on our Double Screens
A yoga instructor comes twice a month for chair yoga.
Dances are held monthly as well as holiday parties.
Our normal schedule includes many field trips like going to a climate controlled church gymnasium for basketball and walking. Spring through fall we offer trips to parks, splash pads, fairs, parades, public library programs and much more. A nurse present on most field trips and Friends for Life provides the transportation.
Holiday activities include a Valentine Dance, Mardi Gras party, Black History, Easter Egg Hunt, St Patrick’s Day party, Juneteenth Celebration, July 4th, Fall Festival, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Family Dinner, and Christmas party with Santa and gifts for all clients from Friends for Life’s Gifts for Grannies and Grandpas program.
