Surviving the Economy

I know of at least one charity whose contributions are increasing. I am sad to say that it isn't us. We're down 56% from this time last year. Just to give that some perspective, it means we have gotten $219,303 less in contributions this year. We've reduced our staff, cut expenses and we're even eliminating one of our programs. All these changes are taking us to a good place. I just wish I had seen this coming a year ago. If I had made the reductions then, we wouldn't be hurting now.
